The Parlee RZ7 is a purebred race bike, so it’s no wonder current U.S. Masters National Crit Champion Megan Griffis Kelly rides one!
Blending aerodynamics with that elusive combination of razor sharp handling and all-day comfort, the RZ7 is the perfect platform for both training and racing.
This build comes from Signature Cycles in Greenwich, Connecticut. As Megan’s local shop, they helped fit and design her bike with top-level components, but the real cherry on top is this deep purple paint scheme. It looks simple, but it’s the little details that make it shine up close…

Megan’s prior bike was a bit too big, and she’d logged a few too many miles on her old mechanical group. Not only was this a chance to update the drivetrain and components, but Parlee’s adaptable design makes it easy to dial in a perfect bike fit to maximize performance and comfort.
Our Parlee Paint Lab added just a bit of metallic flake to the base purple, giving it an almost maroon appearance in the darker areas. But ride into the sun and the purple makes itself known.

At a glance, the Parlee logo may appear white, but it’s actually a subtly light lavender hue that looks right at home.

Little details like a shape-matched color block behind the head badge adds depth without being too flashy…

…and the RZ7 moniker is also painted. No decals here!

Signature built her bike with Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 Di2 and Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels fitted with Goodyear 700x28 tubeless tires.
The cockpit is a mix of Zipp Service Course SL stem and ENVE Aero road bar. While we offer our own bar and stem, one of the benefits of our design is the ability to use almost any bar and stem to achieve the exact fit you want.

Her bike’s finishing kit is pure Parlee, too. We offer our own carbon fiber bottle cages...

…and custom Parlee x Kogel ceramic bearing bottom brackets. The combined effect is high performance and ultra clean looks - no mish-mash of disparate logos to detract from the gorgeous custom paint!

Beyond racing, Megan has been instrumental in developing the local women’s cycling scene. Meet her on a Friday group ride, or join in a local race with Signature Cycles’ women’s team.
While we might be hesitant to risk this beautiful finish in the scrum of finish line sprints at our local crits, we’re proud that Megan chose a Parlee for her “A” bike!
