GTN (Global Triathlon Network) has taken a deep look at the TTiR of Heather Wurtele.
Team Wurtele (aka Teamwurtele.com) are a husband and wife team who committed, full-time, to the sport of long course triathlon in 2009. They sold almost everything they owned and bought a small RV so that they could travel, train, and race around North America. Since then, their travels have taken them across the globe. Heather is now a 6 time Ironman Champion, 23 time half iron distance champion, and has been on World Championship podiums 4 times. Trevor won his first Ironman race in 2013 at Ironman Canada, Whistler, and has been 2nd at an embarrassing number of half iron distance races while winning 3.
